Did you know that the gospels were originally written in Greek?  That the Hebrew Scriptures (or Old Testament) were originally written in Hebrew?  

This means that we are always reading a translation of the original texts.  It is important that you use the translation that is the best read for you. Below there are three options:
Easy Reader Version - simple language and short sentences
New Revised Standard Edition - the version we hear in church
Bible Gateway - a website with many different translations.  Type in the name and number of verses to read them in many different versions.
